Gryllefjord is one of the mostly densely populated places in Troms country in Norway. It is located on the island of Senja, along the Gryllefjorden in the northem part of the municipally. The 0.25-square-kilometre village has a population (2017) of 383 which gives the village a population density of 1.532 inhabitants per square kilometre. The Andenes- Gryllefjord Ferry, is a cer ferry service that runs during the summer to AQndenes on the island of Andoya. The village is connected by road to the village of Torsken, about 4 km south, and to the larger community of Finnsnes, about 60 km east.
